Roy Medich, OAM, CLO

Roy started in the the family business in the 1960s, managing the Regal Theatre in Liverpool when he was just 20 years old, and then the El Toro Hotel and Stardust Hotel during the 1970s, aswell as managing the family's farming operations at Campbelltown and Bringelly.   As well as his responsibilities as Managing Director for Medich Corporation and as a Director of each of the companies within the group, Roy is busy with a wide range of community commitments, which are detailed on our Community page.   Roy was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for services to the community through fundraising in 1999, and a Companion of the Order of Liverpool (CLO) in 1997, Liverpool’s highest award for community service. In 2003 Roy was awarded the Centenary of Federation Medal for his services to the Liverpool Community.

Anthony Medich

Anthony has worked in the family business since 1992, after completing his Bachelor of Economic (Accounting) at the University of Sydney and a Masters of Commerce at UNSW.   He originally worked as a Property Manager, looking after the group’s growing portfolio of land and shopping centres in the western suburbs of Sydney. He is now responsible for the day-to-day operations of Medich Corporation and is a Director of each of the companies within the group.   Whilst working on the Norton Plaza development in Leichhardt, Anthony became heavily involved in local community activities and fundraising. The Medich Property Group was awarded the Ludwig Leichhardt Award for Services to Leichhardt in 2008, in recognition of Anthony’s work in the community.
